I had been planning another Mt Cootha Sunrise sequence for a while… and wanted to get it done before the mornings got too cold. I scheduled this one to coincide with am planned photoshoot in the Mt Cootha Botanic Gardens, but when the alarm went off (at 5:00 in the morning) there were no clouds to be seen at all….so I wasn’t expecting much.
I very nearly went straight back to bed… but persevered and headed up the mountain – arriving about 20 minutes before sunrise – to find a nice set of clouds on the horizon – and some lovely high level clouds whisping in from the South West – Perfect !!!
